The Cayman Cacos Air PC has to be one of the best value Polycotton driveaway awnings on the market. Designed to be versatile yet breathable the Cacos PC is great for use within the UK or mainland Europe. The climate controlled Polycotton fabric helps to allow the air to flow into the awning so that on a warm day it will be a bit cooler inside. On the other hand, when it is cold outside the weave of the material contracts to keep the warmth in. There are two different sizes for attachment with the most popular one being for VW sized vans (Lowline = 180-210cm) and the taller size fits nicely to motorhomes and high-line camper vans (Midline = 210-255cm). Crystal clear PVC windows offer plenty of light in the awning and toggle-up privacy curtains can be used to hide the contents of the awning when you drive-away.

The awning features Outdoor Revolution’s Oxygen Air Frame tubes which give good stability in the wind as well as being quick and easy to pitch (as seen from our Attwoolls Pitching & Packing Videos). It also packs away to a nice small size which is crucial when in a small van. As the awning is side facing it means that your awning is most likely going to be facing a view rather than your neighbour's pitch and will maximise your pitch size along the van. The Cacos comes with a rain safe door to create a sheltered outside space so that you can have a bit of protection against the wind and rain. This same canopy can be enclosed by adding a Porch Door, zipping on the enclosure increases your internal space and a built-in mesh door gives an insect barrier while allowing additional ventilation.

Sleeping is an important aspect of the awning and as standard there is a 4-berth bedroom which is included so that you can easily sleep kids or extra guests outside of the van. The awning also has a sewn-in groundsheet to give an enclosed space away from the elements. There are multiple ways of attaching the awning to the van; dual 4mm & 6mm kador beadings allows the awning to be fitted into any rails/windouts, a pole can be fed through a sleeve on the tunnel and then clamped into a gutter rail; or, simply, guylines can be thrown over the top of the vehicle and pegged to pull the fabric up to the van.
