The Vango Galli name has been around for many years and for the latest season Vango have almost redesigned the driveaway awning and made it a bit more up to date. The Galli Pro not only has a new look but has become more Eco friendly thanks to the material made from recycled plastic bottles. 373 bottles have been transformed into a strong material which has a 420-denier double ripstop weave running throughout the fabric, thus making it a quality awning with premium features. The new darker colour smartens up the Galli while the larger PVC windows still allow plenty of light to flood in. Two tone guylines highlight the trip hazards but don’t clash too much with the colour scheme of the awning, and the storm straps at the front & back of the Galli help to ensure stability.

A new front now allows the awning to be enclosed while still having the flexibility to take the zip all the way down to the ground to give the area the feel of an open canopy. The Galli is available in three different attachment heights, so regardless of what vehicle you have, the Galli Pro is always an option. Without doubt the most popular size is the ‘Low’ (180-210cm) which will fit a VW Transport type vehicle, for a larger panel van or a low-line motorhome then the Mid (215-255cm) is the best size. Finally, if you have a larger motorhome then we recommended choosing the Tall (255-295cm). It is best to measure your vehicle to double check the attachment height, as this will vary from vehicle to vehicle. As the awning is easy to pitch, it makes it a good option to take away for weekend as well as for a longer trip. Throughout the awning there are ventilation points low and high. All of the doors that lead into the main body of the awning feature a mesh door. The two side doors also have a drop-down lip to allow you to bring wheel chairs and push chairs in. There are 4 different attachment methods that can be used to connect the awning to your vehicle, whether it’s via a Kador Beading, Throw Over Straps, Velcro tabs for a roof rack or a Sleeve so that a pole can be threaded through and clamped into a gutter. Two tunnel doors allow the use to enter their vehicle without having to go through the awning and other key features included zip up curtains, oversized Airbeams, a sewn-in groundsheet and Vango’s SkyTrack System.

In short, the new Vango Galli Pro Awning is a great bit of kit and with all of the latest improvements, it really has become the top of its class.
