Outdoor Revolution’s Camp Star 900DSE is all about offering a massive tent at an affordable price. They have done this by not compromising on quality but only giving you the core features that you need for camping. The Lightweight fabric helps to keep the overall tent weight down in comparison to Airedale version which it is based on. The Camp Star uses Outdoor Revolution’s 120 HDE fabric which gives great durability and strength as well as being waterproof to 3,000mm HH. An inflatable Oxygen Frame makes the tent quick and easy to pitch, as seen from our own Attwoolls Outdoors Pitching & Packing video. As the valves on the tent are a Dynamic Speed Valve this helps for the air to be pumped into the beam without a large amount of resistance, the oversized valve also helps when it comes to packing the tent away.

The biggest selling point of the Camp Star has to be the two double-sized annexes, which allow you to sleep additional guests on one side of the tent while, on the opposite extension, you can have the perfect storage area for all of the bags and clutter. Personally, we see it being like a walk-in wardrobe thanks to the rail positioned inside. The same area can be used as an additional sleeping area without having to take up valuable living room space. With all of the flexibility that the 900DSE has, you do have the capacity to sleep up to 13 people, but personally we see it more as a very comfy 6/7 berth with most people having their own bedroom and the adults having more room than most. Large Diamond Clear PVC windows are positioned around the tent to make the tent feel nice and light while toggle up curtains can be used for additional privacy when needed. Darkened Twilight bedrooms help to cut out early morning light and, hopefully, allows the kids to sleep in a bit longer than expected!

Personally, we think the Camp Star 900DSE is a good option for the family who want a tent with plenty of space and flexibility without a big budget.
