Whether you are a first-time camper or a seasonal expert looking for new base to explore from, Vango’s new Lismore Poled Tent is real must have. Vango have taken their bestselling model the Stargrove and taken it to the next level. With increased ventilation and a fresh new colour, the Lismore will soon be the tent most campers are turning to. Having darker ‘Nightfall bedrooms’ and increased ventilation the Lismore has been designed to tackle the main gripes that camping families have with their tents.

As the tent is available in two different sizes, it doesn’t matter if you are a couple/small family who want something that isn’t too big or a larger family who like their space. Simply pick the size that is best suited for you. As the Lismore has fibreglass poles not only does it help to keep the pack size and weight down, but also means than if you need to repair the tent poles, it is very inexpensive to do so. Not only are the pole pre-angled to increase internal height, but they are also colour co-ordinated to make pitching the tent easier. The tent Fabric has undergone a big improvement for the new season. This latest material has been dyed in a different method which not only increases the colour retention of the fabric but also the process uses 60% less water making it more eco-friendly. With a waterproof rating of 3,000mm HH, it is armoured with more than enough to cope with the typical British weather.

The tent is separated into three main areas; a sleeping area which can accommodate up to six or four people (depending on model) with dividers to allow privacy, a main living area spacious enough so that on a rainy day you have enough room to feel comfortable and a front awning offering a great area to cook or leave your muddy shoes and boots before entering the lovely, clean-living area. The side door has the option to be used as a canopy by buying some king poles. The tent has key features such as dark ‘Nightfall bedrooms’, which enable you to have a longer and better night's sleep as you won’t be waking up when the sun does. Inside the bedroom there are also storage pockets to give you an easily accessible point for storing items like phones or torches so you can find them in the middle of the night. Other important features include cable entry points, pre-angled poles and mesh windows internally and low-level panels externally.
