The Dometic TRT 140 Air Roof tent has really broken the mould of what a Roof Tent can do! Not only is the Roof Tent inflatable, but the all-new tri-folding design means that the pack size is unlike anything else on the market. One of the biggest benefits of the compact pack size is that it paves the way for how many different vehicles it can be used on as the tent sits the opposite way around to a conventional Roof tent, making the attachment span a lot smaller than others. A PVC storage/transit cover is included with the tent to keep everything dry and together.

The inflatable structure is strong and robust which is crucial seeing as it tends to be more exposed than a normal tent. An electric 12V Gale pump comes as standard with the TRT so all you need to do is press a button and wait 1 minute and 23 seconds. If you wish to be a bit more discreet then you can always buy a manual pump to do the work and it wouldn’t take much more effort to pitch. The 140 Air uses Dometic’s breathable Polycotton material for longevity and comfort. If required, the flysheet can be removed leaving just the mesh roof exposed for star gazing. There is also mesh throughout the tent with zip up curtains for when privacy is required.

There is no need to feed a single pole! Merely open up the tent, inflate and enjoy the built-in foam mattress which is laid out as the canopy pops into place. For access to the sleeping area an aluminium ladder is included and can extend to whatever height you need. If you are after more space then you have the optional RT Awning to increase your covered area. External storage pockets are a great place to store items like shoes or clothes, so that they don’t take up any internal space and are still easy to access.
