Fforest Fields Caravan & Camping Site

An award-winning campsite nestled in the hills of mid Wales with a 500-acre farm and two lakes for you to explore. Hidden Valley, Ilfracombe

This fabulous North Devon campsite is the perfect base for a festive family break. Pitch up in one of the two distinct camping areas: Otter’s Creek with hardstanding spaces for caravans or Kingfisher Meadow with grass camping spots for tents. 

This Christmas campsite is packed with brilliant amenities, including a well-stocked and licensed shop, two children’s play parks, fully-heated wash blocks, covered dishwashing areas and a restaurant (although please check if it’s open out of season). It’s also ideally located just a stone’s throw away from some of North Devon’s finest Blue Flag beaches, such as Woolcombe’s sandy beach and Ilfracombe’s Tunnel beach.

The Oaks Holiday Park, Looe

A small, quiet campsite just outside the fishing port of Looe, The Oaks Holiday Park makes for a peaceful Christmas camping escape. You can bring a tent or touring caravan or you can stay in one of the park’s five glamping bell tents or four static caravans. 

There is a shower, toilets and washing up block on-site, and plenty of nearby amenities, including restaurants and watersports, hire (if you’re brave enough to take a winter dip in the sea). Alternatively, Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary is a short walk away and the Eden project is only 30 mins by car.

The Quiet Site, Ullswater
