This quiet and private campsite is located on a family farm between meadows of wildflowers and woodland. Built to take just 5 tents, it’s perfect for a group of friends or a family to take over. The children can look for twigs for the evening campsite and count butterflies in the meadow. Check for the view down the valley from the toilet!

Badgells Wood Camping, Meopham, Kent

Go back to nature in this beautiful woodland campsite. Your tent can be pitched among sweet chestnuts and bluebells. Right next door to the site, there is an area of special interest where you might spot a peregrine falcon or an owl. You can buy free-range chicken eggs for your breakfast. Open from Easter to October and off the grid, so you’ll see plenty of stars! There’s also a chance to take bushcraft lessons.

Alde Garden, Sweffling, Suffolk

This little campsite is friendly and located behind a pub with great locally sourced food. You can bring your own tent or opt to stay in a Gypsy Caravan. If you camp, you’ll be amongst the apple trees.
